  • WASHINGTON - education secretary Betsy DeVos announced today the Department of education has approved nine additional career and technical education state plans (CTE). Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Montana, Dakota of the North, Oregon, Dakota of the South, Vermont and Wyoming are the last states to have their plans approved CTE under the new building, both parties 21stcentury Law Vocational and Technical Education (Perkins V ), which was signed into law by President Donald J. Trump on July 31, 2018.

    "Thanks to the leadership of the president, the new career and technical education law gives local leaders the flexibility to make investments in the areas of greatest impact of local needs, "said secretary of DeVos.
