The commitments of the district to solve the investigation include: /p>
Review of their procedures and guidance documents on the use of restrictions or insulation.
Clarifying the roles and responsibilities of those involved in the monitoring and supervision of the use of restrictions or seclusion by the district. >
Modification of your record maintenance system.
Creation of a plan to accurately inform the data to the collection of civil rights data.
Personnel training on district procedures and the new record maintenance system.
Review of files of students currently enrolled that were restricted or isolated from the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year to determine, in part, if a student requires compensatory education for lost educational services due to incidents of restriction or isolation. And,
Implementation of a monitoring program to evaluate the use of district restrictions or insulation.
