The United Black College fund, an organization that represents historically private universities and universities, and Deloitte Digital has been associated with creating a new online learning platform for HBCU students, teachers and staff.

The plan, which was announced on Wednesday, represents "an ambitious strategic initiative to reimachine online education in partnership with historically black universities and universities," said the UNFF in a press release. It will allow users of the "learning, developing and building community together from anywhere".

The remote learning hub is called HBCV and will allow students to take courses for college credit and connect with colleagues and Hbcus scholars throughout the country from next year. The platform will provide synchronous and asynchronous learning options for predictive students and analyzes on the performance of students and other tools for instructors who track the academic progress of students.
