When his family decided to move the United States after living in Dubai for nine years, Oma Seddiq was anxious to go with them. A junior at Northwestern University in Qatar, Seddiq was still two years left in her journalism program.

"I wanted to go home at the same time as they, so I decided to finish the school early," Seddiq said. She had entered the University with approximately a semester of credits. By taking summer courses, gaining internship credit and adding additional classes during your past year, she was able to graduate in three years instead of the four typical.

She is glad that she graduated early, but she said that taking the additional classes were especially difficult.
