The Goddard College Trustee Board issued a letter of cessation and withdrawal last week to a group of students who voted not trust in the Board and the University President last month. The letter accuses the group of former students to violate the law of the registered trademark using the name of Goddard College.

"Accept this letter as an official notice of your infringement of this brand and as the address to cease and desist the use of this protected brand without expressed permission," wrote Joseph P. McConnell, a lawyer with the signature Lawyers Morgan, Brown & Joy.

The notice also requests that the group "ceasse the publication of deceptive or defamatory statements" on the university, its president and the board. Otherwise, the Board can take legal action against the Group.
